Booking.com’s finance and procurement teams faced recurring issues with synchronization between SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and the Ivalua procurement platform. 

Discrepancies between Purchase Orders (POs), Goods Receipts (GRs), and Invoices (INVs) caused delayed payments, manual interventions, and reconciliation errors, creating inefficiencies in financial operations. 

These misalignments increased operational workload and limited visibility across the 3-way match process, directly impacting supplier satisfaction and on-time payment performance.
